She is missing
She is missing everyday, not only a few but quite a few. Few more will be added to the graph till I complete this post and I don’t know how many till you read this.
Millions of girl children are already missing in India alone. Probably missing would not be the correct word, let’s say pushing to death before actually getting a life. Yes, I am talking about female foeticide. You must be amazed to learn that the ratio of female foeticide is higher in urban areas than in rural areas and in educated families than in illiterate families. Perhaps this fact has made it more difficult to improve the situation, if it happened in rural or the illiterate family we could run some awareness program to stop it. So the personal effort seems to be the only way reduce this rate, we must strongly oppose if anyone in our family is about to take this inhuman step.
If every one of us takes an oath not to let her miss before she appears, we will get a lot of other Mother Teresa and Florence Nightingale. It’s true, missing a miss is missing the bliss!!!
